Today marks the 109th month anniversary (June 23rd, 2001) of the deal that sent Bill Muckalt, Zdeno Chara and Jason Spezza to Ottawa in exchange for Alexi Yashin.

  1. As we all know, Zdeno Chara now plays for Boston, Jason Spezza plays for Edmonton thanks to a stellar trade by The Ottawa Sun, and Bill Muckalt currently owns a Wendy’s on route 7, but not one of those Wendy’s / Tim Horton’s hybrids. He’s not a millionaire anything.
