Today would have been Daron Richardson’s birthday. In November, Luke Richardson’s daughter killed herself, and rather than do what most of us probably would if they lost a loved one – which is to say, never speak to anyone ever again – the Richardsons are opening up about mental health issues among young people. People around Ottawa are wearing purple today in solidarity.
